Emergency Foundations
In response to a tower structural failure in Osceola County, Florida, P&J was contracted to construct a new H tower. The project timeline was a significant challenge for P&J’s team. P&J had to work with a private landowner to build heavy equipment access. Materials procurement, geotechnical investigation, and design had to be fast-tracked to complete, review, and approve a foundation design in four (4) days following the initial call from the owner. P&J improved or built 1.25 miles of access roads, installed SWPPP controls, and mobilized an entire drill crew and equipment compliment in three (3) days. Foundations were drilled and poured by the end of the sixth (6th) day. Forms were removed, demobilization completed, and foundation design concrete strength was achieved in 10 days following the initial call to P&J.
