Have you downloaded the MyCigna app?

The MyCigna mobile app is a great resource to help you access tools and services to help you stay healthier. If you’re enrolled in the PIH/P&J health plan, you can download the app from your phone’s app store and register their plan to view coverage, seek care, check spending account balances, and check out some of Cigna’s additional support tools to help you stay healthier, many of which are available at no additional cost!

To register for the app:
  • Download the App from the App Store, Google Play (formerly Android Market), Blackberry World and Kindle Fire. iOS and Android devices include iPads and tablets running on the Android platform. To download the App to an iPad, visit the App Store and look for it on the iPhone Apps tab.
  • On the home screen of the app, at the bottom left, tap on Register
  • Enter your information on the next screen: First Name, Last Name, Birth Date, Zip Code, and under additional information, your social security number or customer identification number if you have already received your Cigna identification card
  • Tap next
  • Create a user ID and Create a Password
  • Indicate whether or not you want to receive emails from Cigna by sliding the button to the right (optional)
  • Type in your email
  • Confirm your email
  • Tap next
  • Follow the rest of the process to register

Your Cigna ID Card

You will only be issued new physical cards the first time you enroll in the medical plan, or if you made a plan change. If that’s the case, you (and your covered dependents, if any) will each receive one Cigna ID card for your medical and pharmacy coverage combined.

If you kept your benefits the same this year, please keep your existing ID cards for use in 2023.

You can also access digital versions of your Cigna ID cards through the MyCigna app. Once you register, simply log in to the app, click the drop-down menu in the top left corner, and select “ID Cards”. Your medical identification card (and those of any dependents) and dental cards (if enrolled) will appear on the next screen.
