Are you using the Safety Education Management system?

If you’re a Supervisor or above, you should have received information on our new Safety Education Management (SEM) system to help you manage your team’s safety trainings in the field. This system is designed to make it easier to view, track, and verify that your crew is prepared and qualified for the task at had.

 

The mobile version of this app (SEM Mobile Lookup) will allow supervisors to:
  • Verify what safety trainings employees received,
  • Verify what equipment employees are qualified to operate,
  • View associated training documents (operator qualification packet, training roster, etc.),
  • Verify completed skills assessments for applicable groups,
  • And verify various other certifications employees may have, including safety, environmental, or quality trainings–all from the palm of your hand!
We’ve also developed a companion report for PowerBi that can be run on your desktop to:
  • View P&J-specific codes and names for all trainings, certifications, qualifications, skills assessments, and other identifiers that are tracked.
  • View all completed trainings, certifications, qualifications, skills assessments, etc.
  • View expired and upcoming expirations for each of the above, if applicable, and
    • Note: if a course is showing expired or upcoming, it’s simply a course that the employee has completed previously–we will evaluate whether new training is needed based on current assignment and the specific training
  • View detailed employee training reports.
