When disaster strikes, P&J’s Disaster Response Group is ready to get communities back to normal. Since our first major hurricane clean-up after Hugo in 1989, P&J disaster teams have worked with federal, state, and local governments and agencies, as well as private sector clients across the United States. P&J has answered the call after virtually every federally declared disaster over the past three decades, including hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, wildfires, rock slides, and ice storms. We have also supported recovery efforts following man-made disasters including acts of terrorism and environmental disasters.
As a national, diversified contractor, P&J is uniquely prepared for any disaster. Our team of emergency preparedness experts keeps their skills sharp on other P&J jobs year-round, ready to respond at a moment’s notice. During storm seasons, we proactively track major weather events, and our decades-long relationships in the industry allow us to preemptively organize subcontractors and equipment even before landfall.
P&J is standing by with industry-leading, disaster and emergency preparedness experience to help communities across the country recover when needed.
