At Phillips & Jordan (P&J) our greatest resource is our employees, from our operational managers and supervisors with years of experience who keep our crews safe and productive, to our corporate service teams that manage our fleet, financial and administration, information and technology systems . We share a common commitment to our core values and priorities. Our employees care and we truly care about our employees. We are proud to have many second and third generation employees that have chosen to build their careers with P&J. Our clients can be assured that their project needs will be met with the high level of quality and efficiency that is synonymous with P&J.

Our fleet of heavy and specialized equipment numbers over 850 pieces. Our extensive earthmoving fleet is equipped with the latest in grade control technology that helps us move material faster, smarter and more accurately. Our fleet management and logistics team is comprised of some the most skilled equipment professionals in our industry. We must often simultaneously mobilize multiple spreads of equipment and crews to numerous projects throughout the country. We have 4 service centers – 2 in the east and 2 in the west. Maintaining our equipment by our own highly skilled mechanics and service technicians, whether in the field or in our shops, gives us another advantage by better enabling us to control both costs and availability. We maintain national account status with the major equipment vendors and this allows us to efficiently and cost effectively acquire and rent equipment throughout the country.

At P&J, we utilize technology to increase productivity, accuracy and improve information management processes. We use industry-standard professional estimating, scheduling, and financial systems. We link these systems to generate the knowledge needed to make timely adjustments, confirm assumptions, improve quality, and achieve schedule. In addition to the many “off the shelf” and vendor-developed technologies that P&J utilizes, our IT team develops a number of customized technology solutions in-house. These range from asset tracking, data capture, communication, and reporting tools. Our commitment to leveraging technology in our business practices ultimately leads to greater value, accuracy, and quality for our clients.

P&J possesses “best in class” financial ratios with respect to liquidity and leverage. We maintain excellent vendor relations and hold a D&B rating of 5A1. P&J’s surety (Liberty Mutual Surety) currently has established an aggregate surety line of $500,000,000. As required to supplement our structural programs, our banking partner, J.P. Morgan Chase, has placed a number of large project specific credit facilities. These long-term relationships allow us to undertake the large and complex projects and aggressive schedules we often encounter in our key markets.

…P&J responded with vast resources, including heavy equipment, trucks, manpower, technical support and management expertise…
