PYRAMID PAD CONSTRUCTION
Location: Williston, North Dakota
Completion Date: September 2012
Phillips & Jordan Role: Prime Contractor
The Pyramid Pad is an eight well pad, one of the larger production pads in the Bakken region, located within the city limits of Williston. Phillips & Jordan was contracted to complete construction of the pad and shaped containment berms around the pad, and to install landscaping around the facility. Phillips & Jordan was also tasked to design and install a specialty storm drainage system to address the complex nature of the site. Construction of this showcase location for Statoil included 30,000 tons of Class 5 aggregate, fire hydrant installation, and custom installation of landscaping timbers and privacy fencing. The aesthetics of the oil well pad were designed to blend with the surrounding landscape to reduce the visual impact of the facility on the local community.
