Major items of work performed by P&J for the Northeast/Pocono Reliability Project included clearing of the new ROW approximately 150′-wide, grinding and disposal of vegetative debris, installation and removal of mats in wetland areas, construction of gravel access roads, installation and maintenance of erosion control measures associated with clearing operations, removal of danger trees, and vegetation management.

NE Pocono

P&J was the lead co-permit holder for the project and was responsible for the management of all environmental impacts and wetland mitigation in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and local agency requirements. After line construction was completed, P&J was responsible for site restoration in accordance with land owner commitment agreements.
